Cleary promotes finance lawyer in City office

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has promoted finance lawyer Jim Ho in the firm’s London office, during a year when partnership promotions have consisted primarily of US lawyers. Ho’s promotion comes after two years without a partner promotion in the City. The new promotion will take effect on January 1, 2017. Ho has worked on a variety of finance matters including debt financing and restructuring. His clients have included Hellenic Republic, Truvo Group, and UC RUSAL.
