Kerr voted chief executive at Bird by less than half of partnership
David Kerr has been elected to remain in his position as chief executive of Bird & Bird, beating challenger Dominic Cook. Kerr, however, received votes from less than half of the firm’s partnership, and nearly a third of partners abstained from the vote. He has served as chief executive since 1996. Since the vote earlier this year, Cook left Bird & Bird, at which point Edoardo Monopoli took over as head of the firm’s Baseline consultancy.
