Stephenson Harwood calls off Myanmar alliance

Stephenson Harwood has ended its alliance with a local Myanmar firm, as it prepares to launch an office in the country by the end of the year. According to CEO Sharon White, Stephenson Harwood and Myanmar firm U Tin Yu & Associates have mutually decided to end their alliance. White said that the firm has made a strategic decision to establish a more formal presence in the country to better serve its clients. The firm has not yet confirmed when or where the new office will open in Myanmar. Stephenson Harwood has expanded within Asia over the past few years through a combination of office launches and formal alliances with local firms.
