Linklaters launches new global innovation team

Linklaters has launched a new innovation team intended to implement various technology-related initiatives, including a program designed to teach lawyers coding. The new team will be headed up by three partners, including London-based Paul Lewis, Singapore-based Sophie Mathur, and Frankfurt-based Christian Storck. The team was established by managing partner Gideon Moore at the firm’s Berlin partners meeting earlier this year. The global innovation team’s initial projects will include work on artificial intelligence (AI) as well as lawyer training on subjects such as coding and blockchain. The team’s overall objective is to oversee innovation and guide the firm’s use of technology.
