Jones Day promotes 47 globally in latest round

Jones Day has promoted 47 partners in its latest round, including five promotions in London, one of its largest rounds in the City. Women accounted for 15 of those promotions, or 32 per cent of the total. Liam Bonamy, a private equity lawyer, was the only partner in the latest round to have started his career at the firm, having started as an associate in 2006. Other London promotions include Ben Shribman, John MacGarty, Polly O’Brien, and Sylvia Tonova.
