Bird & Bird hires former GC of Creative Technology

Former Creative Technology global legal head Anan Sivananthan has been hired by Bird & Bird. He joins the firm as an IP partner, and will work out of Bird & Bird’s Singapore office. Sivananthan joined Creative Technology in 2000, and was appointed as global legal head in 2007. He previously worked as an IP litigator at Drew & Napier, a Singapore firm. According to Bird & Bird Asia Pacific IP head Matthew Laight, Sivananthan brings extensive experience and strategic thinking to the firm’s IP group.
