Maurice Allen steps down from consultant role at Ropes & Gray

February 16, 2017 Maurice Allen will be leaving his consultant role at Ropes & Gray in order to focus on his other consultant position with DLA Piper. Allen founded Ropes & Gray’s London office and served as a senior partner before transitioning to a consultant role.

Allen said it would have been too difficult to continue working with both Ropes when he joins DLA on 1 March. At DLA, he will work with the firm’s finance practice, reporting to managing partner Charles Severs and managing partner of sectors and clients Jan Geert Meents.
