Slaughter and May hires first lateral in London
Slaughter and May has hired Daniel Schaffer, former head of pensions at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF). The move marks Slaughter and May’s first lateral hire in London. Schaffer served as head of pensions at HSF for seven years, and has nearly 20 years’ experience in pensions law. According to Steve Cooke, senior partner at Slaughter and May, Schaffer will help boost the firm’s client service with regard to advisory and transactional matters.
