Clifford Chance antitrust head joins Orrick in Paris

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has hired Patrick Hubert, who previously spent 12 years at Clifford Chance, where he served as head of antitrust. He will join Orrick Rambaud Martel as a partner and will be based out of the firm’s Paris office. Orrick will also bring on members of Hubert’s Clifford Chance team at a later date. In addition to his experience at Clifford Chance, Hubert has held a number of government positions. He has previously served as a judge for the Conseil d’Etat, general counsel and chief investigator for the competition authority of France, and chief of staff for the French Minister of Justice.
