HSF head of public international law jumps to Boies Schiller
Dominic Roughton has left his position as global head of public international law at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) to join US firm Boies Schiller & Flexner in London. The firm’s London office specializes in arbitration, litigation, and investigations, and Roughton joins as the firm’s 19th international disputes lawyer in the City. Roughton previously headed up HSF’s Tokyo office and served as a partner for 12 years in Japan. According to Natasha Harrison, London office head for Boies Schiller, Roughton’s experience in Asian markets will be an asset to Boies Schiller as the firm seeks to boost its presence in the region.
