Gowling WLG private client team hired by Forsters

A four-partner private client team from Gowling WLG has been hired by Forsters. The partners include private client head Anthony Thompson, along with Catharine Bell, Daniel Ugur, and Nicholas Jacob. In addition to the four partners, a team of 15 lawyers and staff will move to Forsters. According to Gowling WLG chief executive David Fennell, the move will benefit both Gowlings and Forsters, as Gowlings seeks to focus on other practice areas. Forsters’ private client team will include 48 partners once the move is finalized.
