Quinn Emanuel opens in Perth

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has opened a new office in Perth, in conjunction with the hire of Paul Evans, who currently serves as the state solicitor for Western Australia. Evans previously worked as a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF). Perth is a strategic location for mining and commodities, and Quinn plans to offer arbitration and disputes work for clients in the area. Managing partner John Quinn said the firm has been in talks with Evans for a few years regarding a move.
