Lloyds slashes 22 legal roles

Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) has announced cuts to 22 legal roles, as the bank continues to restructure its legal team. The announcement was made by Kate Cheetham, group GC at Lloyds. The bank’s recent restructuring efforts have led many employees to question the future of the company, especially in the wake of Brexit. Lloyds originally planned its restructuring initiatives around a strategic review process that began in October 2014.
