Debevoise global revenue and profits fall

New York firm Debevoise & Plimpton has reported a 3% decrease in revenue, which fell to $735m last year. The firm’s London office, led by Lord Peter Goldsmith QC and Richard Ward, also reported a revenue decrease of 3%. Profit per equity partner came in at $2.4m globally, representing an 8% decrease over last year. Presiding partner Michael Blair said the firm consolidated its 2015 growth over the course of 2016 amid a changing business landscape.
