Three associates made up at Macfarlanes

Macfarlanes has announced that three current associates will be made up to partner as of 1 May. The promotions include banking and finance associate Sarah Ward, tax associate Jeremy Moncrieff and M&A associate Richard Burrows. Ward trained with Macfarlanes, while Burrows joined from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Moncrieff joined from Allen & Overy. According to senior partner Charles Martin, the three new partners will play important roles in the firm’s future success.
