Ashurst boosts high yield practice with A&O and Linklaters hires

Ashurst has brought on two new members to its London-based high yield finance practice. Tamer Baghat joins Ashurst as a partner, having previously been a senior associate at Allen & Overy (A&O). Natalia Sokolova joins from Linklaters, where she served as counsel and focused on acquisition and high yield finance. According to Helen Burton, the firm’s global co-head of finance, the new hires are one example of Ashurst’s commitment to expanding its high yield capabilities.
