Dentons to vote on Peru tie-up

Dentons is aiming to expand in Latin American through a combination with Gallo Barrios Pickmann, a local Peruvian firm. Both Dentons and Gallo Barrios Pickmann are expected to vote on the tie-up within a few weeks. Gallo Barrios Pickmann was founded by partners Julio Gallo, Manuel Barrios and Fernando Pickmann. The firm includes six partners among a total of 24 lawyers. If approved, the deal would bring Dentons its first base in Peru, adding to the firm’s recent Latin American expansion efforts.
