Kirkland to launch in Boston office while Baker McKenzie and Fieldfisher hire in Europe

Kirkland & Ellis has announced that the firm will be launching a new Boston office, which will be the firm’s eighth US office and its thirteenth globally. The firm will relocate partners Armand Della Monica, Neal Reenan and Ian Bushner to Boston in order to launch the new office. In Europe, Baker McKenzie has hired Matthieu Grollemund from Dechert. Grollemund will head up the corporate practice in Bakers’ Paris office. Meanwhile, Fieldfisher has hired intellectual property (IP) partner Benjamin Grzimek, who joins the firm from IP firm EIP.
