Linklaters turnover up 10 per cent while PEP reaches £1.5m

Linklaters has revealed its 2016/17 financial results, reporting a 10 per cent increase in turnover, which rose from £1.31bn to £1.43bn. Profit per equity partner (PEP) increased by 7.8 per cent, and reached the £1.5m mark for the first time in the firm’s history. The number of full time equivalent partners rose from 435.7 in 2015/16 to 440.6 in 2016/17. Managing partner Gideon Moore emphasized the importance of taking currency fluctuations into account. He added that the firm succeeded throughout a turbulent year thanks to continuity work and contingency planning.
