Baker McKenzie hires from Freshfields, Travers Smith and Morrison & Foerster in London
Baker McKenzie has brought on three new lawyers in the firm’s city office. Geoff O’Dea, a former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner who specializes in insolvency and acquisition finance and restructuring matters, joins the firm as a partner. Sue McLean joins from Morrison & Foerster and will be made up to partner as part of the move to Baker McKenzie. Matthew Smith, who will also be made up to partner upon joining Bakers, previously worked as finance counsel at Travers Smith.
