Freshfields enlists Manchester support staff to aid integration in London

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has brought on Manchester-based support staff members in its London location to aid the firm’s integration efforts in the city. The program participants are legal support assistants (LSAs) from the firm’s legal services centre (LSC). The support personnel will work with the corporate department in London in order to help incorporate a fee-earner work style into the LSC, according to LSC head Olivia Balson. The firm has also enlisted the support of LSC staff in international offices, and is currently evaluating opportunities for more assistants to take part in the program starting later in the year.
