Simmons expands in China with partner hire in Shanghai

Simmons & Simmons has continued its expansion in China with the hire of May Lu. She joins the firm from Shanghai-based MWE China Law Offices, where she was a partner in the firm’s employment group. Simmons also recently hired Matthew Durham, who joined the firm’s Shanghai office from Winston & Strawn. According to Simmons Asia employment head Fiona Loughrey, the firm expects to bring on additional lawyers by the end of 2017.
