HSF real estate team hired by CMS in Paris

CMS has hired a real estate team from Herbert Smith Freehills in Paris, as the firm continues its global expansion efforts. The team includes HSF head of real estate Pierre Popesco, along with partner Florence Chérel and counsel Benjamin Bill. As of the beginning of 2018, total of 12 lawyers will join CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in Paris from HSF. According to CMS UK real estate head Ciaran Carvalho, the firm’s recent UK merger with Nabarro and Olswang has opened up opportunities for international expansion.
