Linklaters hires Tom Alabaster from Latham & Watkins

Linklaters has hired Tom Alabaster, who joins the firm from his position as a partner at Latham & Watkins. Prior to joining Latham in 2014, he held an in-house role at the New York office of Carlyle Group. Alabaster is a key hire in Linklaters’ efforts to forge a stronger relationship with Carlyle’s European arm. He joins Linklaters as a partner in the firm’s investment management practice in London, and will focus on advising US institutions on operations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
