Akin Gump brings on four partners from Morgan Lewis

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has hired a four-partner team from Morgan Lewis. The team focuses on financial restructuring and global debt, and includes Thomas O’Connor, Renée Dailey, Christopher Lawrence and Chester (“Chip”) Fisher. O’Connor will be based in Akin Gump’s London office, while the other three partners will launch a new Connecticut-based office for the firm. Akin Gump partner Barry Russell, who previously worked with the team at Bingham McCutcheon, said he looks forward to working with his former colleagues once again.
