Major law firms compete in Africa's growing energy market

There's is a rush of international law firms seeking a piece of Africa's growing energy market, writes The Am Law Daily. According to the article, Hunton & Williams has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mkono & Co. Advocates, East Africa's largest law firm. Denton Wilde Sapte is considering severing its relationship with Mkono and looking elsewhere. Major law firms such as Linklaters, White & Case and Chadbourne have also been noticeably more active in Africa recently.
