Top UK law firms remain confident despite job cuts

Most of the UK's twelve largest firms by revenue have managed to limit the damage caused by the finance crisis to just single-digit cuts in the hardest-hit sectors. Five firms - Eversheds, Clifford Chance, Simmons & Simmons, Freshfields Bruckaus Deringer and DLA Piper - have let associates go in response to the current crisis.
