Recession affecting the legal profession to the tune of 5500 jobs

As if you needed someone to tell you, the global economic downturn has also been felt in the legal sector. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the legal sector lost 5500 jobs for both lawyers and support staff in the first two months of 2009.
