Clifford Chance loses global top spot to Linklaters
Clifford Chance has lost its No. 1 spot as the world's largest law firm by gross revenue to British rival Linklaters. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer claimed the second place in the global 100 rankings published by The American Lawyer, followed by Clifford Chance, now the third largest firm globally after eight years on the top spot. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Baker & McKenzie complete the worldwide top five.
