Kirkland & Ellis lays off more than 20 associates in New York

Kirkland & Ellis has laid off more than 20 associates in its New York City office and will also cut associate jobs in its Washington, D.C. and Chicago offices. The news comes just after Kirkland announced the launch of a new office in Shanghai earlier this week.
