Eversheds raid forces Hammonds to close Munich base
Hammonds will close its Munich office following last year's departure of a five-lawyer team to Eversheds. Hammonds will enter into a three-year referral relationship with the Munich office of patent law firm Gulde Hengelhaupt Ziebig & Schneider (GHZS) for all patent prosecution and patent litigation matters. All other work will be transferred to the firm’s Berlin office. Munich office partners Herbert Kunz and Michael Schneider left Hammonds to join Eversheds in October 2009, followed by partner Hosea Haag and two associates in November
