Linklaters appoints new Managing Partner in Paris
Linklaters has appointed a new head of the firm’s Paris office after litigator Arnaud de La Cotardiere stepped down from the role. Paul Lignieres began his four year term as the managing partner of the Paris office on 27 May, and he will perform the role alongside his existing responsibilities as co-head of Linklaters' global infrastructure and construction group and head of its Paris public law group. Lignieres has been with Linklaters since 2003, before which he worked with the World Bank. La Cotardiere, who was French managing partner 18 months, has been appointed head of the commercial practice.
