McGrigors hires 15 lawyers across UK offices

McGrigors has recruited 15 lawyers across its UK offices. The firm has raided Hammonds for talent, hiring a 10-string contentious construction team to join the Manchester office. The Hammonds team includes partners David Moss, Paul Giles and Richard Anderson, along with seven associates. The Manchester office has also hired two lawyers to its tax disputes and investigations practice from Dickinson Dees: Andy Brown joins as a director and Steve Porter joins as a solicitor. McGrigors’ London base is bolstered by the hire of former SJ Berwin partner Karl Woolley in the finance practice, while the Aberdeen office has taken on energy partner David McEwing from Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace, and real estate senior associate David Rose from Thorntons.
