A&O paris corporate head leaves to establish boutique firm

Allen & Overy’s Paris corporate head, Nicolas Bichot, has announced plans to leave the firm to establish a boutique practice. Bichot & Associés will focus upon M&A and tax work. Bichot is joined former A&O partner Patrice Couturier, along with two associates from A&O, Charles-Noël van den Broek and Mathieu Odet, who will join the new firm as partners. Bichot plans to build his team to a size of about 20 lawyers in the next one or two years, maintaining a ratio of one partner to one associate.
