SNR forms alliances with 10 African firms
SNR Denton has announced alliances with 10 firms in Africa, bringing its total number of alliances in the continent to 21. The 10 new firms are spread across Angola, Botswana, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia and Sao Tome and Principe. The move significantly bolsters the firm’s presence in the region, adding to associations with firms in Accra, Algiers, Burundi, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Kampala, Johannesburg, Lagos, Lusaka, Nairobi, Rwanda and Tripoli. These alliances are in addition to SNR Denton’s Cairo office. “This significant expansion takes SNR Denton into countries where our clients operate, or are looking to expand, and we’ll be able to provide them with the best local legal expertise in those countries,” said Paul Bugingo, co-head of SNR Denton’s Africa Committee. “We’ve been working with most of the new associate firms for some years now and this just formalises these well-established and long-working relationships with these firms.”
