US legal Industry lost 2900 jobs in February

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has reported that US unemployment fell to 8.9 percent in February, but the legal industry lost 2,900 jobs in the same month. In January the industry made the modest gain of 500 jobs, after losing 1600 jobs in December 2010 and 900 in November 2010. Overall, the legal industry lost 1300 jobs between February 2010 and February 2011.
