Clarke Thomas & Winters loses half its headcount

About half the lawyers from Texas firm Clark, Thomas & Winters have announced that they are leaving to start a new law firm law firm under the name Duggins Wren Mann & Romero. The new firm will launch with 29 lawyers, who work out of the same offices for the time being. Senior partners David C. Duggins, Casey Wren, James Mann and Celina Romero have appointed David Gilliland as managing partner. This recent mass defection follows the departure of nine lawyers from the firm's pharmaceutical practice, who joined up with Minneapolis firm Bowman and Brooke in February.
