China's largest law firm Dacheng allies with Malaysian firm

China’s largest law firm Dacheng has announced exclusive Malaysian alliance with Malaysian firm Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong. The alliance is expected to service mainland Chinese enterprises as they venture abroad, cooperating on outbound China IPOs, M&As and infrastructure projects. It will also serve to assist the Chinese firm in its strategy of growing its ASEAN and South Asian network. Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong managing partner Jeff Leong said that the firm aims to double its headcount from 35 to 75 in the next three to five years via a series of mergers, lateral hires and organic growth.
