Pinsent Masons and Mishcon de Reya announce 2011 promotions

Pinsent Masons and Mishcon de Reya have announced their 2011 promotions. Mishcons made up two partners: litigator Derval Walsh was made up in London, and civil and criminal litigation expert Vincent Filardo joins the partnership in New York. Filardo’s promotion represents the first time the firm has ever made up a partner outside the UK. Meanwhile. Pinsent Masons has made up five partners, a slight increase on the four promotions made last year. Three partners were made up in London: Paul Amiss in corporate, Iain Sawers in financial services and insurance and Rob Wilkins in projects and construction. Louise Forster was promoted in the Edinburgh projects and construction practice, with Chris Chong was made up in the Singapore dispute resolution practice.
