12 lawyer team from Chadbourne joins Akin Gump

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has raided Chadbourne & Parke for a 12 lawyer team, including partners Kerin Cantwell and Daniel Sinaiko, along with five counsel and five associates. The team joins the firm's project finance and renewable energy practice in Los Angeles, following hot on the heels former Chadbourne partners Edward Zaelke, Adam Umanoff, Thomas I. Dupuis and Lloyd MacNeil, who joined Akin Gump on 12 May 2011. Mr. Umanoff and Mr. Zaelke will serve as co-chairs of the firm's global project finance practice.
