Graduate deferrals continue at US firms
The effects of the recession are still being felt by law school graduates, with many firms still deferring their incoming classes.
At Proskauer Rose, the class of 2011 is due to start this November at the same time as the majority of the class of 2010. The rest of the class of 2010 have been informed that they are to be deferred again until either January 2012 or April 2012.
Meanwhile, the class of 2011 at Foley & Lardner are not due to start until February 2012, and unlike at Proskauer the class will not be receiving any kind of stipend.
