Jones Day boosts German tech and media practice with Hogan Lovells hires

Jones Day has bolstered its German technology and media practice with the hire of a veteran intellectual property partner from Hogan Lovells, Wolfgang Buchner. Buchner will join the firm along with counsel Undine von Diemar. A statement from Hogan Lovells said that their practice will not suffer as a result of the loss: "Our IPMT practice is recognised as being at the top of the market in Germany and Munich is a particularly strong office thanks to partners Stefan Schuppert, Matthias Koch and Steffen Steininger and their teams. We are very confident that we can cover the needs of our clients."
