Norton Rose to lose four partners in Middle East

Norton Rose is set to lose four partners from its Middle East practice to other firms. Regional managing partner Campbell Steedman, a corporate lawyer based in Dubai, leaves the firm for White & Case, while Dubai banking partner Anthony Pallett moves to join Latham & Watkins. In addition, Abu Dhabi-based projects partners Dominic Harvey and Jonathan Brufal are leaving the firm to join Vinson & Elkins. The firm is set to reinforce the Dubai office by relocating the co-head of Islamic finance, Mohammed Paracha, from Bahrain along with Singapore-based banking of counsel Matthew Escritt. In addition, the firm has hired Clifford Chance senior associate Alex Roussos, who joins the Dubai office as of counsel.
