Clifford Chance bolsters London high yield team with relocation

Clifford Chance has announced the relocation of high yield specialist partner Tony Lopez from New York to London. Lopez will be the fifth partner with expertise in this area to join the London team. A spokesperson for the firm said that the move is part of a strategy to boost the high-yield capabilities of its leverage finance practice, and that the firm intends bolster the practice with yet more partners and associates. US securities partner Michael Dakin said: "We are investing in our European high-yield team because the market here is evolving and becoming increasingly important to both our firm and our clients. The European market is maturing and becoming increasingly interesting and complex."
