Addleshaw Goddard loses Singapore head ahead of launch

Berwin Leighton Paisner has scooped up partner Kent Phillips from Addleshaw Goddard, just before that he was due to launch and lead a new Singapore office for his former firm. A spokesperson for BLP said they had already secured a "fantastic office in a great location", in Singapore and that " a team has just returned from a successful relationship building and preparation trip". The spokesperson said that the firm was "sorry Kent has decided to leave; he will go with our best wishes" and that they would announce the new leader for the planned Singapore office soon.
