US Legal Sector loses 1,300 Jobs in September

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the second consecutive month of negative growth for the legal sector. Things were looking good in July, when 4,100 positions were added, but the sector took a turn for the worse when it lost 300 jobs in August, a trend that has increased last month with the loss of 1,300 jobs. The legal sector has seen a net loss of 1,500 jobs so far in 2011, and has shed 3,500 jobs since September 2010, according to the report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
