US legal sector gains 400 jobs in October, but it doesn't make a dent

The US legal services sector gained 400 jobs last month, according to the latest statistics released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The growth in the sector was marginal in light of the loss of 1,200 jobs in September and 300 in August. There was growth in July, with 4,100 jobs gained, but the sector is currently down 3,000 jobs over the past 12 months.
