Salans and SNR Denton rumored to be close to merger deal

There are rumours circulating that Salans and SNR Denton in the final stages of negotiating a merger. The combined firm would have the benefit of Salans’ international presence with 22 offices worldwide, and SNR Denton’s solid UK presence, with 60 offices. The combined revenue would be somewhere in the order of £750 million. These negotiations, which have reportedly been going on since late 2011, follow hot on the heels of SNR merger with Sonnenschien and Denton Wilde Sapte. While there are signs that the integration of those firms is proceeding fairly well, profits are way down and likely to stay there through the course of this next deal.
