UK firm DWF set to make redundancies

UK firm DWF is set to make some redundancies after the proposed merger with Cobbetts fell through three weeks ago, through RollOnFriday points out that the firm would likely have been forced to make redundancies even if the merger went ahead. The merger negotiations have been fraught for some time, and the firms decided to pull the plug because a huge number of Cobbetts partners were unhappy with the deal. Cobbetts is reportedly still in the market for a merger partner, and there is speculation that they may commence negotiations with Pannone in the near future.
