Ashurst posts 6% increase in revenue
UK firm Ashurst has recorded a 6 per cent increase in revenue from £303 million to £322 million in the 2011-12 financial year. The figures don’t include fees generated by the firm’s revenue-sharing tie-up with Australia’s Blake Dawson, which went live in March this year, but managing partner James Collis indicated that the firm had begun to benefit from cross-referral work leading from the alliance, particularly in corporate, banking, and energy, transport and infrastructure. Collis said: “The general feeling is that it’s an encouraging result against the backdrop of a pretty challenging economic situation.” He added: “This is a pretty solid platform. No one’s complacent, but we feel we’ve got something to build on.”
